One of my earliest memories is of our inherited miniature dachshund, Willy, and the refuge of his basket.
I have always had and always adored animals and dogs in particular. I currently have four, two of which were born in my hands.
I trained in design and am drawn to anything creative. I started classes in life sculpting having had no previous experience and it just clicked. I sculpted my Labrador Otto and it’s gone from there.
This is a labour of love, you can never observe enough and shape, pattern, texture are king for me. I enjoy focusing on certain details to try and capture the essence of the dog; whether working or a much loved family member.
Much like those people committed to horses, I get dogs and sculpting them to keep hold of them seems a great way to spend my time. It really matters to me so I hope to have the opportunity to work with other inspiring dog owners to capture their canine companions.
It’s a wonderful journey….
